It uses Nano precision bearing for ultra silent operation, as the company describes it

There are many case fans out there, and cases themselves usually ship with their own, pre-installed spinners, so there are only two ways that a series of fans could sell: either their maker persuades a case maker to use them for the pre-installed cooling, or they make them good enough for customers to get regardless.

Spire's latest Air Force 120 LED fan is a sort of middle ground. The type of fan that could appeal to both owners of unassuming desktops, as well as case developers.

Though it doesn't hurt that it can just as easily be installed on a CPU heatsink as well.

Anyway, the newcomer uses Nano precision bearing, which is said to make it very, very silent, but the max dBA is still 22. Just a bit above a whisper, sure, but still not totally silent.

And it probably would have been even higher if not for the silicon rubber anti-vibration pads and specific fan blade shape. Then again, active cooling is noisy by definition, so we can't really complain.

Finally, the Spire Air Force 120 LED fan has a blue LED and a rotary speed of 600 to 1500 RPM (rotations per minute). The price is of $18.95/€14.95.
