New hardware comes out all the time, and it seems like Enermax is getting ready to release its newest PC enclosure, one that has everything from a side-window to LED-lit fans and features that boost ease of use and functionality.

AMD recently unleashed its dual-GPU Radeon HD 6990 graphics card and NVIDIA won't take long in matching it with the first Fermi dual-GPU, GeForce GTX 590.

In fact, the Santa Clara, California-based outfit also has plans for the mainstream front, where the GTX 550 Ti will start making rounds sooner or later.

In fact, Galaxy has already been discovered to have designed a version of this particular video controller, with a clock speed of 1,000 MHz for the GPU.

Coupled with all the new CPU and memory releases, gamers can be said to have a lot of hardware just waiting to combine into high-end systems.

Knowing that any such machine would require a suitable enclosure, Enermax has put together the SpineRex case, which features the full tower form factor.

Among other things, SpineRex has five exposed 5.25-inch bays (for optical disk drives and other things), plus modular HDD (hard disk drive) cages that can hold up to 8 drives.

A mesh design and quick release covers are also among the case's assets, as are two Vegas fans on the front (120mm), plus a side 250mm spinner.

All three fans have blue and red LED lights and can spin at up to 1,000 RPM, although one can also implement water cooling via the four rear openings with rubber grommets.

Other features include thumb screws for PCI cards, a rail-based mounting system fro HDDs or ODDs and a top I/O panel (USB 2.0, eSATA and audio).

April is the earliest when users can hope to see online stores listing this particular, 1.0mm SECC steel-wrought, black-coated item with support for micro ATX, ATX and E-ATX mainboards. It shall bear the price of $149.
