Looks neat but feels rather silly

Yep, the mechanical rights are some of the nicest sources of income when it comes to intellectual property; merchandise with a specific theme sells excellent for the fans... no matter whether we're speaking about jugs and kites, panties or school bags. It's just one business that simply grows by itself, fueled by the fans' desire to own all sorts of stuff related to the characters in the media, be that cartoons or movies, games and so on.

Now, there is actually nothing bad in such a thing except that some of these items may look very silly from time to time, as it's the case of the Spiderman Speaker Pillow. I don't know, it may be fun, as long as we're speaking about a pillow, but having such a pillow singing under your head...I don't know, again. Pillows are supposed to help you get some comforting relaxation time, whether at home or in many other places; I can't imagine how relaxed could I get while laying my head on some loudspeakers...

On the other hand, loudspeakers are supposed to be able to sing freely and not muffled inside pillows so that you could hear something more than someone trying to drown Beyonce in the bathtub. It may be fun to have a singing pillow around the house but when thinking about functionality, I'd rather have my common pillows and my Hi-Fi loudspeakers separate so that I can enjoy a good nap and a good sound.

If you simply can't find better destination for around $18 and if you like Spidey, you could think of buying the Spiderman Speaker Pillow, especially as it comes with 3.5mm jack and volume adjustment. I wonder if the Wonder Woman blanket will be available soon. Or a Storm hug-pillow...
