The most well-known comic books hero of all times, Spider-Man is back on the streets of New York City in the action/adventure game Spider-Man: The Movie. The story of the character behind the red mask, Peter Parker, is revealed here and a new savior of humanity is born. On a school trip to a research institute, Peter is bitten by a genetically engineered spider and soon discovers that he gained great powers. His sight gets perfect, his skinny body turns to a muscular type and he has great strength and he can even shoot sticky spider webs from his hands. Once he (well, mainly you) learns to control his new powers, the villains in NY get into big trouble. Your task is to master the all new combat moves and perform dizzying stunts to battle the most vicious dark characters that roam the streets of "the city that never sleeps", including Shocker, Vulture and the Green Goblin.
