Spice Mobiles, one of the pioneers in the dual-SIM handset area, has announced today the release of Spice D-1111, the first Windows Mobile phone in India to feature Dual Mode GSM+CDMA connectivity. The new handset comes with attractive VAS applications and has been developed so as to combine fun and productivity functionalities, while also offering users the possibility to include two SIM cards into the same Windows Mobile-powered mobile phone.

The new Spice D-1111 comes to the market with some of the latest innovations in the mobile phone field, being able to deliver both great quality and improved usability. The phone features a 2-megapixel photo snapper, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a touch panel for increased ease of use, and with a memory card slot for up to 2GB of additional storage space. Moreover, the handset also includes push email features and Outlook support.

The exclusive VAS features, like Nimbuzz, Reuters, or Opera Mini, offer users even more functionality with the new handset. They will be able to sign in to multiple chat accounts, including Yahoo, MSM or Gtalk, so as to stay connected with friends all the time. In addition, the phone comes with MITR, and applications meant to enhance the WAP experience. Other apps are also available, offering users a variety of fun options while on the go.

Another service that will come included in the device is the Email2SMS service, which enables users to receive their emails as SMSes while on the move. According to the company, the first month of Email2SMS service on D-1111 will come with a free subscription. At the same time, Spice Mobiles also announced that the device would feature a price tag of Rs. 18499, with a 512MB memory card, a leather pouch and a screen guard included in the package.
