Indian OEM Spice Mobility has just announced the immediate availability of Smart Flo Mettle 5X (Mi-504), another cheap Android smartphone that, obviously, offers dual-SIM support.

This is the third smartphone in the Smart Flo Mettle series launched by Spice in the last month, and also the cheapest. As fonearena points out, customers in India will be able to pick this one up for just Rs 3,549 outright, which is about $55 or €40.

The company launched the Smart Flo Mettle 5X in early December, and a few weeks later it brought the next device in the same lineup, the Smart Flo Mettle 4X.

As the cheapest of the three, the Smart Flo Mettle 3.5X also comes with the lowest specs sheet, so those who plan on getting this one should have much lower expectations.

The only thing aside from dual-SIM that might tempt an Android fan is the fact that it comes with version 4.2, which is quite surprising considering the phone’s price.

For less than $60 (€45), customers will get a smartphone powered by a dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor clocked at 1GHz, which is complemented by 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory.

Luckily, Spice Mobility also included microSD card slot, so users will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB. The phone does not come with 3G connectivity and expect dual-SIM (GSM / GSM) with dual standby support.

There’s also a low-end 2-megapixel camera on the back, which, surprisingly, features LED flash. In addition, a secondary VGA front-camera is included as well.

It is also worth mentioning that the Smart Flo Mettle 3.5X sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 320 pixels resolution, as well as decent 1,500 mAh Li-Ion battery. Other highlights of the smartphone include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, FM Radio function, and 3.5mm audio jack.
