Aaron Spelling, the mastermind behind success TV serials like "Charlie's Angels", "The Love Boat", "Dynasty", "Beverly Hills 90210", "Melrose Place" and so on, is now facing a sexual harassment lawsuit from a former nurse. Charlene Richards accuses the geriatric TV titan of asking her sexual favors during her period of employ. The suit was filed last week in Los Angeles Superior Court, two months after Spelling himself sued the woman and her lawyer for violating a confidentiality agreement.
The ex-nurse of Spelling, Charlene Richards reported in her court paper that the TV giant used to try placing his hands on her breasts, "groin and genital area" and exposed himself while asking oral sex in return of a sum of money. She also said the 83-year-old director masturbated in front of her, tried to stick his tongue in her mouth and told her that in the past many actresses entered his office and performed oral sex on him. Charlene was shocked and disgusted of this abnormal behavior and allegedly refused his advances, but Spelling fired her "without notice or cause," so she sued him.
"Mr. Spelling denies every single thing she says and we will fight the case all the way. In our view it has no merit," the producer's attorney, Bert Fields, states. "Anybody who knows Aaron would know that he would not, could not do the things she alleges and knows he's a complete gentleman."
The whole story began in November 2004 and continued in November 2005, when Aaron Spelling sued his ex-nurse for sending out a mass mailing to "hundreds of people," among them some former Spelling starlets: Jessica Biel, Alyssa Milano, Heather Locklear, Shannen Doherty, Farrah Fawcett and Linda Evans urging them to reveal Spelling's transgressions. The 83-year-old director also said that Charlene Richards threatened him to make all this story public unless he paid her. For these accusations, Spelling asked $5 million in compensatory damages.
"That suit is still pending and it's our contention that by [Richards] filing this kind of a lawsuit...by putting all these wild accusations in the complaint, she has once again violated her confidentiality agreement." says the rich director's lawyer.
