You may know Scott Speedman from the hit franchise 'Underworld' or from the WB Network television series 'Felicity'. You may also know that, while 'Underworld' is not exactly an intellectually-challenging movie (it wasn't even supposed to be that), Scott's acting added nothing to it.
So, the guy who seemed to be in almost every shot in which the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale appeared will now get the chance to star with another Hollywood beauty. He will join Steve Tyler's daughter, Liv, for 'Strangers', a thriller set for a September 2007 release.
The Rogue Pictures flick will focus on the story of a young couple who spends a cozy vacation at a remote cabana. They are attacked and held hostage by three masked strangers, with one of them being played by the doll-faced model Gemma Ward.
The script for 'Strangers' was penned down by Bryan Bertino, who also makes his feature directorial debut with it. Shooting began this Monday in South Carolina, but the rest of the cast hasn't been announced yet.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the suspense thriller.
