The peripheral is particularly well suited for first-person shooters

Speedlink has prepared a peripheral that might actually be considered a cheating implement in online FPS tournaments, but it has no regrets.

The company's new product is called LEDOS Gaming Mouse, which has a Rapid-Fire button that sends out burst shots from whatever firearm your virtual self happens to be holding.

There's also a Sniper button, which increases the mouse's sensor resolution to 500 dpi instantly.

This slows down the mouse pointer, temporarily, allowing you to pick off enemies at a distance.

What's more, the mouse is plug-and-play-ready, meaning that it doesn't need a mouse to run. Just plug it in your PC or Mac and you're good to go.

On-the-flu macro recording, 7 programmable buttons, 6-color LED glow, all those are also part of the feature set.

The price of the Speedlink LEDOS Gaming Mouse is €19.99 / $19.99.
