The stable version for SpeedFan 4.47 has been released, bringing to the table mostly support for new hardware. However, fixes and changes are also available.
Among the most important modifications is full CSMI hard disk (S.MA.R.T.) support. This means that systems using Matrix Raid and Intel Rapid Storage will have the storage devices detected accurately.
The current version can handle Intel 7 Series SMBus, fully supports Fintek F71808A and Nuvoton NCT6779D chips and adds limited support for DELL Studio 1558 to the PWM only (for system stability).
Additional modifications include repairing temperature readings for Intel Ivy Bridge and how ATK110 is handled on some motherboards. Furthermore, there is a new command line parameter, /NOINTELQST.
SpeedFan 4.47 expands the list of supported USB enclosures and now includes FreeAgent Desktop and FreeAgent from Seagate. Check the full list of changes here
