Opera Software and Vodafone Czech Republic have just announced a new partnership to bring the popular Opera Mini mobile web browser on the carrier's phones.

A special version of Opera Mini is now available for download via m.opera.com for all Vodafone customers in Czech Republic.

Those who are fast enough to download and install the special version of Opera Mini mobile web browser will also receive one month of unlimited access to the mobile version of Idnes.cz.

On top of Opera Mini’s popular features, the special version of the browser provides one-click access to Vodafone Czech Republic’s unique set of services and popular websites, such as Facebook or Novinky. We are also happy to offer our customers unlimited access to m.idnes.cz for a one-month period, so they can feed their addiction to the hottest news,” said Petr Ricanek, Product Manager, Vodafone Czech Republic.

Beside the usual features offered by the standard version, this special Opera Mini mobile web browser provides Vodafone users with auto-suggestions that are displayed as soon as they start typing, along with smart address bars, where they can type both web addresses and search queries.

Moreover, these smart address bars feature the ability to adapt to a user's surfing habits by adding automatically domains such as “.cz” or “.com”.

Opera Mini mobile web browser provides users with popular features, including tabbed browsing and webpage compression for data cost savings.

The mobile Web removes many barriers in the world. One of them is access to information. With the new special version of Opera Mini, Vodafone Czech Republic subscribers will get not only the latest in mobile browsing technology, but also a chance to see how easy instant access to information can be,” said Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software.

It appears the partnership between the two companies is part of a global agreement between Vodafone Group Services and Opera Software.
