Pink is the new obsession

O2 has though about the ladies and has colored one highly stylish handset in pink. Just how much the female target will appreciate this is yet to be seen, although it looks girly enough, probably too much.

Having a pink phone has for long stopped being something special. This has proved to be such an efficient gimmick for hitting the right spot in a special, pink-loving side of the female mobile phone buyers that too many producers have used and worn down. The statement in having such a phone capable of standing out has been lost from the moment when too many ladies started owning one, making it be quite a common feature.

O2 takes one more shot at 'seducing' this market segment and colors the Samsung D900i in a pretty pink color. Surely, the phone loses a great amount of elegance, but keeps its style and receives an extra personality boost instead of the gray old color. Aside from the pink color which is meant to attract attention, Samsung D900i comes with just the same specifications as before.

The slider phone comes in an extra slim case at only 12.9 mm thick and a highly fashionable design. The most impressive feature about it is surely the fact that it manages to pack a 3 megapixel camera, capable of providing captures at a quality well above average. The phone also has a large display screen, capable of supporting a resolution of up to 240 x 320 pixels.

Other specifications for this slider phone also include Bluetooth 2.0 and USB connectivity. There are also FM radio and TV output performances. Until now, this slider phone has been available in three colors: black, wine red and gray. The pink cheerful version surely brings some life into this line of phones, although it is not necessarily bound to make it a success.

The Samsung D900i Candy will be available from now on at O2 for the price of 100 pounds.
