Today, Piriform rolled out a fresh build for Speccy, a tool designed to inform users about the hardware configuration of their system.

The full revision number for the current release is 1.24.632. It brings to the table several new options and improvements.

Starting this build, Speccy can detect USB storage devices and it should be more accurate at reading the temperature of the motherboard and the CPU.

The developer added the option to skip the UAC (User Account Control) warning and to refresh all the details pulled in by the application.

Furthermore, Speccy can now be configured to launch with the operating system in order to be able to monitor the changes at all times.

Additional modifications present in this release refer to improvements for the detection of the network adaptor and the debug mode notification.
