OK, so maybe her name doesn't ring a bell but it might, after learning who Kim Kardashian is and why a sex tape with her is so important. She is the daughter of Robert Kardashian, the high-powered attorney who defended O.J. Simpson (you know, the 'alleged' killer who tried to publish a book on how he might have killed his two victims, were he really responsible of the murders). Kim's fame is entirely due to her close relationship to Paris Hilton and to her being linked to many famous men, from P. Diddy to Nick Lachey, The Game and Ray J, Brandy's brother. Now, her name is on everybody's lips because there is a sex tape with her and Ray J out there, on the verge of being sold and made public. Said video is important not in itself (although it does bring something new to the rest of celebrity sex tapes, namely, a golden shower at the end - take that Screech with your Dirty Sanchez!) but because it's creating a huge scandal on who has it and who is going to sell it. Apparently, Kim's pal Paris doesn't want it to become public because she secretly fears it will make more money than her own sex tape. But this is exactly what the buxom brunette is hoping for because that would boost her image and her career (currently she is working as a fashion consultant or something in that line). SugarDVD, one of the biggest companies that deal with porn tapes offered Kim a staggering $2 million but she turned them down. Sources say that she did not take up the offer because she doesn't want her name involved in the scandal and that's why she's trying to sell the tape through a third party (and preferably get more money than just a meager $2 million). In what concerns the public opinion, Kardashian insists she's not shopping the tape but (her it comes!) does not deny its existence. Speaking with TMZ, Kim said: 'There is no tape being shopped. Ray J and I remain friends, and there is nothing he would do to spite me.', slamming rumors that she would be behind the big deal. Since the two 'starred' together in the pee-filled home video, Kim and Ray have split up and moved on: he was recently seen having a cozy dinner with none other than Whitney Houston, while she is dating Nick Cannon.
