Another graphic card manufacturer has decided to roll out a product designed for gaming enthusiasts. This time we are talking about SPARKLE, which has recently released a NVIDIA-based graphic card as part of its high-end Calibre lineup. With this card, SPARKLE has decided to use NVIDIA's GeForce 9600 GPU and design it so it would satisfy the requirements of high-end users. Based on this GPU, SPARKLE created two models, dubbed P960 GBOX and P960G GBOX respectively.

Both cards are designed and built to enable high-graphics DirectX 10 gaming for all of the latest desktop computer systems. And, as SPARKLE does with all of its Calibre graphic cards, these two have also been bundled with a number of number of features and accessories meant to make the offer sweeter for the customers. What the cards bring, in addition to the standard versions, is the fact that they come factory overclocked, meaning that the enthusiasts will deal with the best GeForce 9600-based card, straight out of the box.

The technical specs of the two cards include a graphics core clock running at 700MHz, 1 GB of GDDR3 memory (for the P960G GBOX) and no less than 64 stream processors, meant to bring high-quality graphics to a gamer's desktop rig. Being based on an NVIDIA GPU, these two cards will also feature NVIDIA's own technologies, namely SLI and PureVideo HD support. The cards are also equipped with SPARKLE's patented VGA Rectifier Technology (VRT), which sets an iron bar on the top side of the graphic card to enhance its performance.

What this cards offers with the GBOX technology is a way in which the user can better monitor the technical specifications of their graphic card. The GBOX provides a 5-inch bay which can be installed into the user's chassis. The bay connects with the card through a cable and displays GPU temperature, GPU working voltage, fan speed and other important information.

"With out of box overclocking features, the Calibre P960 GBOX and Calibre P960G GBOX Graphics Cards give gamers the horsepower to play cutting-edge DirectX 10 games at a price they will love and can afford," said Alvin Hsiao, sales manager of SPARKLE Computer Co.
