SPA Tune to be bundled with Sparkle graphics cards

Sparkle, one of NVIDIA's largest board partners, has just introduced a new overclocking tool designed for the company's high-end graphics cards, expected to be bundled with the Sparkle-designed GeForce cards. The software utility will allow NVIDIA graphics card owners to easily overclock their card's reference clock settings, thus further improving the performance level the GeForce card is capable of.

Simply dubbed SPA Tune, the new overclocking tool has been designed to be both accessible and useful to users who need to boost their card's performance in order to achieve a more stable and higher-quality graphics experience. The user interface looks strangely familiar, and might actually make some think of their Apple iPhone or iPod touch. However, once past the design features, the SPA Tune will really unveil its OC capabilities, allowing users to speed up the card in several ways.

SPA Tune has been created to offer three different pre-established working modes, each one providing the user with a different level of performance. With the OC mode, the card is turned up to its highest clock speed, thus increasing the system's graphics performance for any DirectX 10 game. In STD mode, the card is set at reference clock speeds, which makes it so that it requires less power as opposed to the OC mode. The GRN mode is meant to provide a “green” power consumption level, delivering less performance, but also lowering the power consumption and keeping the cooling fan less noisy.

Overall, the new overclocking tool from Sparkle seems to deliver almost everything a user might require in order to easily boost the performance of the GeForce graphics cards. The easy-to-handle interface will also be good for first-time overclockers who feel tempted to experiment with their card's performance potential.

As noted above, the SPA Tune is expected to come bundled with the latest graphics cards from Sparkle.
