Britney Spears went bald on Friday, after she took the hair clippers from one parlor employee's hand and buzzed her skull to the skin. A few hours later, her brunette hair and extensions were on sale on eBay but it was later pulled down for undisclosed reasons. But the owners will not give up without a proper fight, so they went and put up their own site where you can bid and eventually become the lucky owner of that which Britney doesn't need anymore.

And, speaking of shaving one's head, rumor has it that there are two possible things that might have pushed the pop tart off the edge: her mother or her soon to be former hubby K-Fed. The theory regarding her mother we already know (that she had a fight with Britney and that the singer tried to show her that she can no longer command her life, by cutting her hair) so there's no need to dwell on it anymore.

The other version of the story goes something like this: on Friday, Kevin Federline visited Britney at her L.A. home and the two started to throw insults at one another. 'Extra' claims that the wannabe rapper threatened the fallen singer that he would take a lock of her hair to have it tested and see what she has been doing lately (he was obviously referring to her alleged drug and alcohol abuse) and, in this way, have clear evidence against her in the custody battle. Britney reportedly got so scared that she decided to shave it all off so as to stop Kevin from carrying on with his plan.
