Former president of the Autonomous Community of Cantabria Miguel Angel Revilla has been busted browsing the Interviú magazine and looking at naked women during a parliamentary plenary on Monday.

Although he was participating in a plenary session and he was supposed to focus on the political debate, Revilla decided to take a rest and relax looking at some raunchy pictures of beautiful models.

The subject matter of the debate was probably not interesting enough for him, so he chose to flick through the pages of the aforementioned publication.

Interviú magazine is known for featuring scantily-dressed women in provocative poses, according to Daily Mail.

Just like a guilty child, the Regionalist Party of Cantabria tried to cover the copy of the magazine with official binders.

However, his indiscretion did not go unnoticed, and some deputies snapped photos of the incident and posted them almost immediately on WhatsApp. The scene was also caught on camera by photographer Andres Fernandez from the local paper El diario Montañes.

The 71-year-old Spanish politician says he was actually searching an “interesting” story on Miguel Blesa, former president of Caja Madrid bank.

“Very interesting article in Interviú about Blesa, I'm sure they caught me reading it,” he wrote on his Twitter account shortly after the image of him staring at naked models went viral.

Revilla tried to play down the incident, but many people criticized the politician for lacking morals while earning public money.

On the other hand, it was revealed that the article about the President of Caja Madrid was featured from page 8 to 17, while the graphic picture Revilla was staring at was on page 30 of the issue.
