14 DAY TRIAL // Even though the Windows Store is growing at a rather slow pace, some of the latest apps come with a very appealing feature package, so they’re at least worth a shot.
SpaceX Blaster is just one example, as it brings the classic spaceship battle concept on all Windows 8 devices out there.
“Blast space enemies to your heart's content in this quirky survival space shooter game. Some foes are tougher than others so watch your fire, but go for the high score! In SpaceX Blaster, you take control of a white spaceship and maneuver across the stars, in a Top-Down perspective, blasting away with your on-board lasers,” the game’s description reads.
Unfortunately, the game is only available on x86 and x64 Windows 8 computers, so you won’t be able to play it on a tablet, such as Microsoft’s Surface RT.
What’s more, the developer recommends users to play the game with a keyboard and a mouse in order to better control their spaceship as they fight with enemies.
