The independent development studio Full Control has released the Space Wolves Expansion for their digital turn-based strategy game Space Hulk.

Space Hulk is a strategy video game based on the popular fantasy universe Warhammer 40k, offering a more convenient digital alternative to the tabletop version of Games Workshop's war game, using a popular campaign setting and offering both single and online multiplayer content.

The Space Wolves Expansion brings Warhammer fans the Fangs of Fenris campaign, a captivating adventure which features three new missions set in a chilly environment.

The expansion adds 11 new and unique Space Wolves terminators, which users can play in all other missions, complete with new weapons and new rules, such as the Frost Axe and Wolf Claw.

The campaign also contains a Runepriest that has control over new skills, like Murderous Lightning and Hurricane.

Additionally, new chapter specific rules are introduced on top of standing ones, in order to add a new level of gameplay depth.

The Space Wolves Expansion has an epic introduction. The Wolf Guard's boarding torpedoes unload the Terminators after slamming into the side of the Messenger of Woe, setting up a foothold from which to propel further attacks.

Hundreds of Genestealers were cut down by the Wolf Guard's weapons, and only a small contingent of the vile aliens managed to temporarily evade their fate, skittering down the shadowy depths of the hulk. The Space Wolves' task is clear, eliminating the last traces of the treacherous aliens.

Space Hulk emulates the classic board-game experience in both single player as well as multiplayer, cross-platform compatible. The setting is an ancient vessel lost in vast graveyard of space, where players lead a small army of fearless Space Marine Terminators through isolated corridors and perilous tomb-like chambers in a grueling battle for survival against the hordes of Genestealers.

The game is based on the Sin of Damnation campaign contained in the 3rd edition board game, and the original Space Hulk game delivers a 12 mission single-player campaign, recreating the tense moments encountered while playing the board game, while also allowing its users to go head to head with a human opponent, one player taking control of the Space Marines, and the other controlling the predatory aliens in the ultimate fight for domination.

Space Hulk is currently available for PC, Mac and the iPad, as is the Space Wolves Expansion, available now for $5 / €5.
