SouthWing, a Bluetooth technology developer based in Europe, announced the release of its SH241 Bluetooth headset via AT&T's retail stores from North America.
Already available for European customers, the SH241 combines a nice look with a set of advanced features created to offer a perfect handsfree experience. First of all, the new headset comes with the innovative WhisperMode that allows users to hear, quietly but audibly at the same time, who is calling.
"The WhisperMode feature makes it easy to screen calls at inopportune times, such as during a business meeting, at a wedding ceremony or while driving. In addition, with all the new hands-free calling legislation going into effect across the US, the SH241 helps drivers to stay safe, while allowing you to take a call if you need to," stated SouthWing founder Bart Huisken.
SH241 also brings the following:
– a PUSH4 button, for storing a favorite number in order to easily dial it afterwards, with only one touch;
– Voice Menu, which brings a voice-enabled interface for navigation;
– Auto Call Pick-up, for answering incoming calls automatically (after three seconds);
– Hearing Aid Compatibility (HAC);
– three covers that can be easily changed;
– four ear buds;
– and no less than 12 ringtones.
"The SH241", Mr. Bart Huisken further said, "is a powerful and lightweight headset with all the bells and whistles that the typical business-user demands, but also includes practical features that will appeal to the non-technical user. Combined with a great price point, the SH241 is a quality headset option for many customers."
SouthWing's SH241 should be on sale in a couple of days in all of AT&T's retail stores, for a retail price of 39.99 USD – not that much if we compare it to the price of other Bluetooth headsets recently released (like ModeLabs' Bluetrek Metal, for example).
