14 DAY TRIAL // A new version of Soundtrckr was made available for download for the users of a Symbian ^3 and S60 5th Edition touch device, straight from the Nokia Beta Labs, namely Soundtrckr 1.0.9.
The Soundtrckr application was reportedly received pretty well by the Nokia Beta Labs community, and the new release is based on the feedback received.
The developer team behind this application notes that, among the various improvements that the software comes with, users would enjoy the implementation of Java Runtime 1.4 with Soundtrckr for S60 5th Edition Touch devices.
Thus, the application won't require for Java Runtime 2.1 to be installed from the Nokia Beta Labs. However, the best experience would be delivered only in the event that JRT 2.1 and the corresponding version of Soundtrckr are used.
Some of the new features that were included in the new release, are aimed both at Symbian ^3 and at S60 5th Edition devices (with either Java Runtime 2.1 or 1.4).

In addition to these features, the development team notes that there are a series of bux fixes that have been included with the S60 5th Edition flavor of the Soundtrckr application:

Soundtrckr offers users the possibility to access a library of more than 8 million fully licensed songs from their handsets, while also enjoying various social and location-based features through which they can discover and share music unavailable elsewhere.
Soundtrckr was launched as the first Geosocial Internet radio, with songs from almost all genres, artists, or periods of time.
