Like Samsung and so many others, LG is the sort of company that dabbles in many facets of the IT industry, and one of those facets happens to be that of audio products and technologies.

Truth be told, it makes sense for LG to release one or more products from all its technological and product branches.

This is, after all, the time when companies from around the world are congregating in Berlin, Germany, for IFA 2013.

Most of the product announcements will happen next week, probably on Monday and Tuesday, right before IFA 2013 starts (the show stretches from September 5 to September 9).

We've already seen a G Pad 8.3 teaser video, and we know for sure some curved OLED TVs will be included in the exhibition too.

Now, we can tell that the audio segment will get a treat as well: the LAP340 Sound Plate and two Sound Bars, the NB4530A and NB5530A.

Sound Plate is a very small audio device, only 35mm in height, meant to be placed beneath televisions of 32-inch to 55-inch diagonals.

It provides 4.1 channel sound (has two integrated subwoofers) and throws sound in multiple directions.

For sound intensity, a neodymium magnet is used, while Bluetooth functionality completes the spec sheet. That's about all there is to the Sound Plate.

The NB4530A Sound Bar is a different creature. Sure, it's made for minimalists and has the same 3D sound processor, but it’s long and has 2.1 channel audio, 310W output, and a subwoofer (separate from the bar). JDMI with ARC is supported, as is Bluetooth.

Sadly, information on the last sound bar is unavailable. All anyone knows is that it received the Red Dot Design Award.

“Through extensive R&D, consumer insight and technological knowhow, LG is able to produce stellar audio visual products that are sure to impress visitors at Europe’s premier consumer electronics tradeshow. Our creative designs and industry leading audio visual solutions will enable consumers to enjoy the most phenomenal home entertainment experience available today,” LG Electronics’ Senior Vice President Seog-ho Ro said.
