Dressed in a sparkly Spiderman-inspired outfit and with her energy on high levels, Jennifer Lopez was ready to rock the stage at the KIIS-FM’s 2011 Wango Tango concert. This, she did – except for those minutes when the audio completely went out.

As the video below will confirm, Lopez took to the stage with rapper Pitbull to perform her first single off the “Love?” album, “On the Floor.”

The performance had just the right ingredients to be one of Jennifer’s most amazing to date: said sparkly outfit, lots of dancers, excellent feedback from the audience, Pitbull himself and, last but not least, Jennifer’s determination to bring down the house.

She was lucky for that last part because it was the only thing that saved her from disaster when the audio unexpectedly went out.

With her backup dancers, Lopez did her best to get the crowd all worked up, thus proving that, say what you will about her, she is a good entertainer. Otherwise fans wouldn’t love her so dearly.

The video clearly shows how the sound went out just as Jennifer was warming up with the first lyrics of the song.

Unfortunately, it also shows her still mouthing the words to the song even long after the audio went out, which, as expected, has generated plenty of talk that she wasn’t really singing live but lip-synching.

In other words, she took too long to notice that there was no audio, as TMZ also points out.

“When the audio cut out during Jennifer Lopez’s performance last night at KIIS-FM’s Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles, you think she’d notice right away. Think again,” the e-zine says.

Happily, when she did notice, Jennifer made it all better by keeping the crowd entertained until the sound was back on – and even cracked a joke about how “somebody’s getting fired tonight” when her mic was back on.

Also happily, no one booed JLo for the mishap. Actually, she’s getting lots of praises for handling it like a true pro. Check it out in the video below.
