The upcoming PlayStation Vita action adventure game Soul Sacrifice Delta just got a fancy new trailer, and the 5-minute-long video shows a ton of gameplay footage, from combat sequences featuring many of the new demons as well as the enhanced arsenal players will make use of in order to dispose of them, to the new rituals and allies that will fight at your side.

The upcoming action adventure game will expand on Soul Sacrifice (you can check out the review of Soul Sacrifice on our site), using the same basic gameplay elements and story delivery mode, only changing the setting and adding new content.

Soul Sacrifice revolves around the concept of players being able to make various sacrifices in order to gain new powers, such as offering their skin in exchange for a massive fiery explosion.

In Soul Sacrifice Delta, players will be able to do a ton of new and fun things by using the game's main sacrifice mechanic, such as giving up their legs in order to gain a pair of wings.

Soul Sacrifice Delta downloadable content is already in the works, as revealed by the Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation, titled Alice's Infinite Demon Palace and supposedly based on the Alice in Wonderland story, keeping in tune with the game's fairytale theme.

Developed by the same guys at Marvelous AQL, Comcept and SCE Japan Studio that are now making Soul Sacrifice Delta, the first iteration in the series, Soul Sacrifice has been released in the west pretty close to its March 2013 launch in Japan, which hopefully is an indication that the game will find its way to western markets shortly.

Soul Sacrifice Delta will launch on the PlayStation Vita handheld console on March 6, in Japan.
