14 DAY TRIAL // For the past few months, a new Hollywood love triangle appeared, getting plenty of attention from the media and the fans because of the famous people in it, namely Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner. If Justin was thinking of starting something serious with Kendall, he’ll have to think again.
She’s not interested in romance right now, not in the sense of finding someone and making sure she does whatever she can to be with that person. Right now, Kendall is focused on her modeling career, so she doesn’t have any time for serious romance.
Kendall’s not interested, whether in Justin or someone else
Since she walked the catwalk at various shows at Paris Fashion Week, the rumor mill hasn’t stopped buzzing about Kendall, her plans for the future and her possible love interests. Justin Bieber and Chris Brown’s names have both been tossed in the conversation in relation to her, with some media outlets even saying that she’d become “obsessed” with bad boy Chris.
It turns out that’s not entirely accurate, because Kendall is 100 percent focused on her career. Yes, she did step out for dinner with Bieber and she did party with Brown, but that’s as far as things went.
“Kendall is concentrating on her career,” an inside source is quoted as saying. “She isn't interested in becoming one half of a power couple; she's more low-key than that.”
“Power-couple” might be a bit of an exaggeration no matter which of these two guys we’re talking about, but you get the idea: Kendall isn’t looking for a serious boyfriend. She has bigger fish to fry.
A modeling career is Kendall’s biggest dream right now
A romance isn’t the only thing that Kendall is willing to sacrifice to get her dream modeling career: she’s so determined to be taken seriously by her peers and fashion people in general that she’s even ditched her famous last name, Jenner.
Saying that being this famous as she is is actually working against her, Kendall dropped her last name and only goes by Kendall these days, where her modeling career is concerned.
You’d think that being part of the most famous family in reality television, the Kardashian – Jenners, would actually work in her favor, but Kendall insists she had to work twice as hard as other girls to get to where she was. Neither the money nor her family name helped her, she promises.
This sounds difficult to believe, because she’s landed at least a couple of gigs thanks to her connections in the fashion industry (through brother-in-law Kanye West, in particular), but her struggle to be taken seriously must be partially true. When she announced she wanted a career in modeling, she was mocked online for days, so we get what she’s saying about working hard to prove herself.
Apparently, not even Justin Bieber or Chris Brown are worth throwing all that hard work down the drain.
