SopCast client has been updated to version 3.8.2 today. The fresh revision brings to the table several improvements as well as a few bug fixes.

The developer made some enhancements as far as the data transfer performance is concerned, and sped up the loading process when playing H.264 channels.

Another modification available in this release is manually adding the recording schedule while channel is offline.

One of the most significant issues addressed in Sopcast 3.8.2 refers to viewing the player window in full-screen mode on a second monitor. Starting this build users running the client on systems with more than one display hooked up should no longer experience this sort of trouble.

SopCast can stream television channels from around the world via the P2P transfer and it can also help users broadcast their own video streams.
