The 5-inch smartphone will run under Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

Sony Mobile is gearing up for the launch of new smartphones running under Google’s Android operating system, and might unveil one of them at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, rumor has it.

The phone has leaked online as Sony Odin C6603 and is expected to be released on the international market with a 5-inch touchscreen display in the first quarter of the next year.

The smartphone will land on shelves with a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor inside, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 3000mAh battery.

Furthermore, it is expected to run under Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and to sport a high-quality 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

Odin is expected to be accompanied by other high-end smartphones from Sony, including a 6-inch phablet.
