Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile is expected to bring to the market two new high-end smartphones before the end of this year, and some more info on these devices is now available.

Codenamed Togari and Honami, both phones have been spotted online before, yet no specific details on what they might have to offer have been provided as of now.

According to the latest reports on the matter, however, we should expect Sony to make both devices official before the end of the year, with screens larger than 5 inches.

In fact, the company is said to plan on releasing Togari with a 6.44-inch 1080p touchscreen display and with a design similar to the one of Xperia Z.

The smartphone will also include a glass back, as well as a very thin body, similar to both Xperia Z and Xperia Tablet Z, a recent article on xperiablog reads.

Togari might arrive on shelves in various color flavors, with Japan expected to receive it first, sometime in July, as a water- and dust-resistant device.

Honami, on the other hand, is rumored to be smaller, featuring a 5-inch touchscreen capable of delivering a full HD resolution, as well as a dedicated Walkman audio chip.

Furthermore, the smartphone is said to pack a high-quality Cyber-shot CMOS sensor, most probably a 20-megapixel one with Carl Zeiss lens.

The mobile phone is said to arrive on the market in China sometime in July, while expected to see an international launch in August or September.

According to ePrice, the water- and dust-resistant device should pack a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor inside, with Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB RAM, and with a 2700 or 3000 mAh battery. However, other rumors suggest that it might sport only a 16MP camera and a Triluminos display.

Nothing has been formally confirmed on these devices until now, but it might not be too long before both of them are made official, so stay tuned to learn more details on them.
