The team at Sony Online Entertainment says that the future development plans for Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures are not affected in any way by the recently announced deal between media conglomerate Disney and publisher Electronic Arts.

A representative tells Massively that, “Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures is fully armed and operational. This week’s announcement does not affect our current agreement with Lucasfilm.”

Sony’s Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures is a free-to-play title that was launched in 2010 and allows gamers to explore the Jedi Temple on Coruscant between the second and third games in the series.

Players can experience a number of mini-games and can meet and get quests from some of the most important characters of the series, including Anakin Skywalker.

Electronic Arts has already confirmed that DICE, BioWare and Visceral are working on Star Wars titles.
