Sony announced its latest additions to the famous Vaio line: the AR20, the FE3 and the N10. These three new models will be released later this autumn.

The AR20 model is the pinnacle of the line and is HD compliant, featuring a Blu-ray writer which will come in handy for High Definition video edit, playback and burning.

The notebook comes equipped with an HD ready X-black 1920 x 1200 LCD screen that has 1080p compatibility. To complete the highly advanced multimedia features, the AR20 integrates a hybrid digital-analogue tuner with HDMI output. The entire system relies on an Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 helped by 2 GB DDR2 memory modules. This high-end solution should be a perfect alternative for a Blu-ray player.

The mid-range FE30 model is designed to be a family notebook and it features a 15.4-inch widescreen LCD display with dual lamp technology for increased brightness and contrast, a serious 200 GB HDD and several Intel Core 2 Duo to choose from.

N10 is the new entry-level model and it's designed to be a "general-purpose" notebook equipped with 80 GB or 100 GB HDDs, a15.4-inch LCD, WI-FI connectivity and an SD card reader. This model should be great for office use.

Prices haven't been reported yet and they should be available in near-release days.
