Sony’s Gamescom 2012 Conference Will Be Streamed Live

Sony has confirmed that it’s going to livestream its own Gamescom 2012 press conference next week, setting up a special website that currently hosts a countdown until the start of the event.

Gamescom 2012 kicks off next week and, like always, Sony is expected to hold a special press conference on August 14, a day before the actual start of the show.

In order to help out fans who won’t be able to attend the show, the Japanese company has confirmed that the whole event will be streamed on the web at this address.

Currently, a timer appears on the site, which counts down until the actual start of the conference at 7PM CET (aka 1PM EST or 10AM PST) on August 14.

Sony is expected to make quite a lot of interesting announcements at Gamescom 2012, possibly even a redesign of the current PS3, in the form of the oft-rumored PS3 Super Slim.
