The smartphone is available for £340 / €395 / $515

Sony Xperia ZR hit shelves last month, but the phone is not available in all countries yet. Sony continues to roll out the smartphone globally and today, the Xperia ZR has landed in Malaysia.

As XperiaBlog notes, customers in Malaysia can order the Xperia ZR via Sony’s official online store for only RM 1,649 outright, which is about £340, €395 or $515.

The smartphone is available in white and black, and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

The Xperia ZR packs a powerful 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 processor, which is complemented by an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

It is also worth mentioning that the phone boasts an enhanced 13.1-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as 8GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.
