Sony Mobile has officially confirmed the upcoming availability of its Xperia ZL smartphone in Russia for March, while also announcing that the device would sport a recommended price tag of 27,490 Rubles (around $900 / €690).

Additionally, the company has kicked off pre-orders for the smartphone through this page on the official Sony Store website, as hi-news.ru reports.

Made official in January at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the smartphone arrives on shelves with a 5-inch full HD touchscreen, as well as with a quad-core processor packed inside.

Its specs list also includes 2 GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and the usual set of connectivity options.

Furthermore, Xperia ZL boasts a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, while running under Google's Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

Thanks, Dekkard.
