Sony Mobile is gearing up for the launch of its Xperia ZL smartphone on the market in the United States as well it seems, and it has already listed the device on its official website.

According to the listing, the device will hit shelves in the country SIM-free and unlocked, and will sport model number C6506 next to it.

Apparently, the company is planning on making the phone available for purchase next month, XperiaBlog notes, adding that it will arrive with support for LTE packed inside (Band I, Band II, Band IV, Band V and Band XVII).

The smartphone will supposedly be priced at $759.99 (€585), yet its official cost hasn’t been confirmed as of now, it seems. Users will be able to choose between Black, Red and White flavors of the device, the official listing shows.

Users interested in enjoying the features and capabilities that this handset has been packed with should head over to this page on Sony’s website to register for updates on the matter.

Made official at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 in Las Vegas, the smartphone packs the same hardware specs as the flagship Xperia Z, though it is not water and dust proof and sports a more compact design.

“Meet Xperia ZL. With ultra-high end smartphone specs like a stunning Full 1080p HD screen, a stellar 13MP 1080p camera, one touch NFC capability and a truly compact 5" design – it's the best of Sony crafted to perfection,” Sony Mobile notes on its website.

The smartphone features a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor beneath that 5-inch screen, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

Running under Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the handset also sports a front camera for video calling, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, NFC, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors packed inside.
