Sony unveiled the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL back in January and promised it would bring the smartphones on the market in the next few months.

Well, AT&T customers will be happy to know that the Xperia ZL has just been spotted at FCC (Federal Communication Commission).

According to Engadget, the device has been approved with support for LTE bands 2, 4, 5 and 17, as well as HSPA 850, 1700 and 1900. There’s no word on availability and pricing options yet, but it shouldn’t take too long for the carrier to make it official.

Even though the Xperia ZL will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, Sony has promised that an Android 4.2 Jelly Bean upgrade will be available for download soon after launch.
