This is not the first time Sony Xperia Z3 Compact leaks online, but it’s the first time that we get more pictures showing the smartphone live.

The smaller version of the unannounced Xperia Z3 is expected to be announced in late August or early September at IFA trade fair, but this is just a speculation for the moment.

Apart from the fact that it will be slightly smaller than Sony’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z3 Compact is rumored to pack a 4.6-inch full HD (1080p) capacitive touchscreen display and an impressive 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with Exmor Rs sensor.

The phone will also sport stereo speakers and no less than 3GB of RAM. Sony Xperia Z3 Compact is also said to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, but the clock speed is unknown for the moment.

As seen in the pictures, the smartphone will also come with a secondary camera on the front, though the number of megapixels is a mystery for now.

According to XperiaBlog, the current device leaked in these pictures that are coming straight from China may be different than the one leaked last month, which had the front-facing camera in a different position.

All in all, we recommend our readers to take these with a grain of salt until more leaks confirm (or deny) the Xperia Z3 Compact look and specs.
