Those of you located in the UK, and possibly looking to grab a tablet, should be interested to know that mobile operator O2 has just extended its slate portfolio by adding two new additions to its Refresh tariff.

Now customers looking to do business with O2 can now pick up the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet or Nexus 7, says TrustedReviews. Previously, the carrier was offering the ASUS Fonepad in 8-inch and 10.1-inch flavors and Samsung Tab 3 lineup of devices.

Tablets under the Refresh tariff regime won’t set you back with a lot of cash upfront, which means shoppers can easily upgrade to a new tablet model, which they will receive on spot. Owners can then pay for the remaining cost at any time, without any penalty involved whatsoever.

The Sony Xperia Z2 tablet would cost £529.99 / $895 / €653 upfront at O2, but if you’re grabbing it on O2 Refresh, it means you can now pick up the slate with 3GB of monthly data for £21 / $35 / €26 month for the device and £15 / $25 / €18 for data. The Nexus 7 is eligible for a similar plan.

Users can also opt between either 500MB, 1GB, 3GB, 5GB or 8GB of data, depending on their respective needs.
