Sony has launched its latest flagship tablet, the Xperia Z2 Tablet back at MWC 2014 in February and since then the device has been widely available in several markets around the world, including the US and UK.

But even as the tablet hasn't been out long, early adopters have already started noticing problems and bugs which hinder the overall performance of the device.

We talked about one of them in an earlier article, including a number of touchscreen issues that made the tablet almost unusable.

Sony has taken notice of the problem already and has recently rolled out a firmware update which aims to fix the problem.

The new build goes by version number 17.11.A.0.402 and it can be downloaded by owners of the Wi-Fi and LTE models and should kick the touchscreen issues to the curb. Hopefully.

Anyway, if you too are an Xperia Z2 Tablet owner and are dealing with problems related to touch-screen unresponsiveness, check out our story to get an idea on how to fix the problem.

Sadly, for a tablet that barely launched, Sony’s flagship is also plagued by other issues, as well. The Xperia Z2 is a very slim device, which is a very appealing feat when you’re considering purchasing such a device.

However, adopters of the device are complaining that the tablet is bent out of shape. For example, the chassis might be warped and beginning to curve over it. Or it could just arrive like that out of the box. On top of everything, sometimes the tablet feels loose and creaky especially around the bezel when users hold the device in landscape view, as reported by DigitalTrends.

In this situation, there’s not much you can do, but go ahead and contact Sony to ask for a replacement, because the tablet should be perfectly straight and not creak when being handled.

Another problem users have been complaining about when using the Sony tablet is a noticeable audio lag when using certain apps, including Skype, Netflix and some games.

A possible workaround to this annoying situation is that you access Settings > Sound > Sound effects and turn off individual settings. You can also try and tweak some of the settings in Sound enhancements to see if it works for you.

Furthermore, you might want to check the Update Center app and check if the particular application has been updated to date.

As a last resort, you could also try checking Settings > Apps, choose the problematic app and the select Clear cache and Clear data.
