The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet launched back at MWC 2014 and the company soon made the Wi-Fi variant of the device available on several markets.

In Canada, interested customers were given the chance to pick up the slate ever since May, at the same time with the Xperia Z2 smartphone.

Now, tableters located in the country wanting to pick up the LTE variant of the slate, will be able to so. Bell will exclusively be selling the device in the country, starting August 7.

According to MobileSyrup, the tablet will sell for CAD$649.95 / $593 / €444 outright for the 16GB model. The carrier will probably also offer the device with a paying plan extended over 2 years.

At this point, you might be aware that the Xperia Z2 Tablet arrives with a 10.1-inch display that offers a beautiful 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution taking advantage of Live Color LED technology.

In the computing department, the slate takes advantage of a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor fitted with 3GB of RAM. The slate has been dubbed the slimmest waterproof tablet on the market and we found this to be the case, after surveying the market for the thinnest slates out there.
