Xperia Z2, the latest flagship Android-based smartphone from Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Mobile, is now available for pre-orders once again across Europe.

The handset was made official at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, in February, and went up for reservations soon after, but was removed shortly, mainly due to stock issues.

However, it seems that Sony Might has finally resolved the inventory problem with the device, and that it is ready to accept pre-orders for it once again.

In fact, the company is already allowing users in some European markets out there to reserve the device now, including those living in the UK, France, Spain and Poland.

As XperiaBlog notes, the company has decided to provide users with the same promotion as before, and those who pre-order the device will receive various accessories along with their handsets.

In the UK, for example, the Xperia Z2 comes to those who reserve it with free Sony SRS-BTX300 NFC speakers. However, users will have to take £599.99 (around $1,000/€725) out of their pockets to grab the device.

According to Sony, the handset will be available for pre-order until sales officially kick off, whereas the promotion on SRS-BTX300 speakers is valid depending on stock.

On the downside, however, is the fact that the SIM-free version of Xperia Z2 will not start shipping until May, though devices purchased on contract might arrive sooner than that.

In fact, users in the UK could start receiving their ordered devices as soon as today, since retailers such as Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse have committed to begin shipping it very soon. Apparently, wireless carriers might start delivering units to their users very soon as well.

Users in the UK interested in purchasing the Xperia Z2 without committing to a contract agreement should head over to this page on Sony Mobile’s website. It is available in Black and White versions.

Xperia Z2 was made official with a 5.2-inch touchscreen display, a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory.

It also comes with a 20-megapixel back camera with 4K video recording, front camera for video chatting, microSD memory card slot, and the entire set of usual connectivity capabilities and sensors. The handset runs under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.

“Xperia Z2 is an Android smartphone that allows you to take photos and videos like never before. It’s made for moments you’ll keep looking back at forever,” Sony notes on its website.
