Some owners who have seen their phones change their shape in time have provided photos to prove that, and you can see some of them attached to this post.
Apparently, the aluminum frame of the smartphone is being distorted enough that it can no longer sit straight when placed on flat surfaces, as XperiaBlog notes.
The most interesting fact is that most of those who reported such issues with their phones claim that no external force has been applied to it, and that they have no idea on how or why the phone is bending.
