Sony Xperia Z1, the latest flagship smartphone from the Japanese mobile phone maker, is now available for purchase in Finland.

The handset was released through various retailers, but it appears to be the cheapest at Gigantti.fi, where it features a price tag of €685 ($925) with VAT included, as esphoneblog notes.

The high-end mobile phone was made official at the IFA 2013 show in Berlin with a design similar to that of Xperia Z, but with upgraded hardware specifications.

Sony Xperia Z1 arrives on the market with a 5-inch Triluminos touchscreen display with Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, capable of delivering a full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution.

Furthermore, it is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Krait 400, Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 processor, complemented by Adreno 330 graphics.

The specifications list of this mobile phone also includes 2GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space.

Furthermore, Xperia Z1 was made official with a 20.7-megapixel camera on the back with image stabilization capabilities, auto focus, LED flash, HDR, and support for full HD video recording.

The smartphone also features a front camera, which should prove a great option to all those looking to make video calls while on the go.

In terms of connectivity, the flagship handset sports LTE (150 Mbps DL, 50 Mbps UL), HSDPA (42 Mbps), HSUPA (5.8 Mbps), Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC capabilities. DLNA, Mobile Hotspot, and GPS receiver were also packed inside it.

Xperia Z1 arrives on the market with a 3000 mAh battery packed inside, capable of offering up to 12 hours of talk time. The handset measures 144 x 74 x 8.5 mm and weighs 170 grams.

Sony launched the flagship device with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean loaded on top, as well as with various exclusive apps and features. The phone should receive an upgrade to Android 4.3 or Android 4.4 in the not too distant future.
