Yet another high-end smartphone from Sony is now available for purchase in China, namely the Xperia Z1 (L39t), which arrives in the country with support for China Mobile’s 4G network.

The mobile phone can be seen at the moment listed on mall.10086.cn with a price tag of 3,999 Yuan ($662/€484) attached to it, though only the black version is listed as in stock at the moment.

Previously, Sony was expected to launch the smartphone at China Mobile with a cost of 4,499 Yuan ($740/€545).

The Xperia Z1 L39t comes with the same features and capabilities as the original version of the device but sports a series of design changes, which affect the manner in which its ports are positioned.

At the same time, the handset offers 32GB of internal memory right from the start, in addition to featuring support for GSM, TD-SCDMA, and TD-LTE networks, as XperiaGuide notes.

Sony Xperia Z1 (L39t) lands on shelves with a large 5-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) resolution and with a water- and dust-proof design.

The mobile phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor paired with an Adreno 330 GPU and with 2GB of RAM, thus capable of offering increased performance capabilities.

On the back, the handset sports a 20-megapixel camera with support for full HD video recording and a 2MP front camera for making video calls.

The smartphone also comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as with a built-in GPS receiver and NFC. Moreover, it packs the entire range of usual sensors.

Sony Xperia Z1 is running under Jelly Bean at the moment (a certain Android 4.2.2 14.1.M.0.184 firmware for the device was spotted online not long ago), but Sony has already announced plans on making the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system available for it. Stay tuned for more on the matter.
