The smartphone will be available through KDDI and NTT Docomo

Android enthusiasts in Japan will be happy to know that Sony Xperia Z1 is only a few days away from its market debut. The smartphone will be available for purchase beginning October 23 via AU by KDDI carrier.

According to XperiaBlog, NTT Docomo will launch Sony’s high-end smartphone a day later, on the 24th. No word on the pricing options, but those interested can require more info at their carrier of choice.

Keep in mind that the Japanese version of Xperia Z1 comes with additional features and improvements, such as 32GB of internal memory, as opposed to 16GB for the international model.

It is also worth mentioning that the smartphone packs Infrared port and One-Seg / FullSeg support. On a side note, Sony’s QX10 camera will be available for purchase at the same time.
