The smartphone went official earlier today for a bit more

Today, Sony Mobile launched its Android-based flagship Xperia Z1 smartphone on the market in India, and the device is already up for grabs for a bit less than officially announced.

At the moment, the smartphone can be seen listed on Flipkart’s website at Rs. 42,999 ($678 / €502). Earlier today, Sony announced the device at Rs. 44,990 ($712 / €533).

Furthermore, the retailer notes that those who order the device through its online store will also receive a free original carry case, a portable USB charger, and a Sony CP-F5 portable charger in the package.

The retailer also notes on its website that the new device will start shipping in the fourth week of September.

As techwhack.co notes, Flipkart is selling all three color flavors of the new device, including Black, Purple, and White.
