Xperia Z Ultra, the largest smartphone that Sony Mobile has launched in its popular Xperia lineup until now, might arrive on shelves at AT&T in the not too distant future, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Apparently, the device has already received the necessary FCC approvals with support for AT&T’s LTE network packed inside, as well as with compatibility with the wireless carrier’s HSPA+ network.

No other details on this flavor of the handset have been unveiled for the time being, but Engadget notes that it should land on shelves with the same features and capabilities as the international version. Xperia Z Ultra was made official with a large 6.4-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as with a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor.

Furthermore, it sports 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, front camera for video calling, and dust-proof and water-resistant certification.
