The smartphone is available with both HSPA+ and LTE connectivity options

Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra smartphone can now pre-order the device via Newegg.

The handset is available in two different flavors, one featuring HSPA+ connectivity (model number C6802) and priced at $699.99 (€517), and the other with LTE in tow (model C6806), priced at $729.99 (€539).

The retailer has the phone listed in all the three color flavors that have been officially unveiled for it, namely Black, Purple and White. As XperiaBlog notes, those who reserve the device via Newegg will receive it around October 14.

Xperia Z Ultra has been announced with a large 6.4-inch Full HD touchscreen display, and with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor inside.

The smartphone also packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, as well as an 8-megapixel camera on the back. It runs under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
