Depending on the region your Sony Xperia V belongs to, you might or might not have received the latest firmware version 9.2.A.1.210 update for the Android smartphone.

According to XperiaBlog, the new update is now live in some regions, so you might want to check via Sony PC Companion desktop software if it's available in your country.

Although Sony offered no details on the change included in this update, one thing is certain: this update does not fix the camera issue.

Sony Xperia V users are certainly familiar with a very annoying issue with the smartphone's camera that records a strange noise during video capturing.

The smartphone is affected by other well-known issues as well, but none seem to have been fixed and from what we know no major new features have been included either.

Firmware version 9.2.A.1.210 may be just a minor update that adds a few minor bug fixes and possibly some tweaking, but without an official changelog there's no way to tell for sure.

Keep in mind that the update's availability depends on the region you're located, so it may not show on the Sony PC Companion right away.

In fact, you may have to wait up to a month to get it, and in some cases some updates never make it to various countries. Did you manage to capture the update? If you find any changes please let us know in the comments.
