Three UK appears set to add to its offerings many of the new handsets that have already been made official at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Among them, we can count the HTC One X, the first quad-core smartphone from the Taiwanese vendor, along with the Xperia U from Sony.

The handset was unveiled on Sunday, and Three UK has already announced plans to add it to its offering in the coming months.

Xperia U arrives on shelves with a 3.5-inch screen, complemented by a 1GHz dual-core application processor, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

The mobile phone will be released in the second quarter of the year, with Android 2.3 on board, but will taste Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich soon after. Have a look at the sneak peek video that Three UK made available in order to learn more on the device.
